Published on November 12, 2019, AFC Leopards are looking to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat in the Mashemeji derby.

Despite the loss, the team remains in contention for the title, which has eluded them for 21 years.

With 75 points still up for grabs, Leopards are just three points behind leaders Gor Mahia and are confident of finishing on top.

Head coach Andre Casa Mbungo is optimistic about the team's chances, saying, 'We have to prepare for the next fixture against Bandari and I have the confidence that we can finish on top this season despite the derby defeat.'

Leopards will play a friendly match over the weekend in the international break and have two players, John-Mark Makwata and Wyvonne Isuza, representing Kenya in the African Nations Cup qualifiers.
