On November 12, 2019, a dramatic turn of events unfolded at the Milimani law courts in Nairobi, Kenya, as Peter Karanja was arrested in connection with a robbery with violence case.

A warrant of arrest had been issued by a Naivasha court, where Karanja is wanted for the alleged crime.

The arrest comes just days after Karanja and Sarah Wairimu Kamotho, the main suspect in the murder of Dutch businessman Tob Cohen, took plea to the charge of killing Cohen afresh in the High Court.
