KCB Bank Boosts Kenya Volleyball Federation with Ksh 1 Million Sponsorship

Kenya Commercial Bank has pledged its support to the Kenya Volleyball Federation, providing a Ksh 1 million sponsorship for the national league playoffs.

The playoffs are set to take place at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani from 22nd to 24th of this month.

According to Judith Sidi Odhiambo, KCB Group Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, the bank is committed to deepening its support towards sports sponsorship in Kenya and across the region.

"We want to give sports fans an enhanced experience in line with our brand. KCB Bank is honoured to be associated with volleyball that has such a great history in our country," she said.

Kenya Volleyball Federation Deputy President Charles Nyaberi expressed his gratitude to KCB for their unwavering support over the years and announced the transitioning to the new calendar with new officials.

The top team in each gender category will represent the country in the Africa Club Championships, while the first runners-up teams will represent Kenya in the Africa Cup of Cups Championships.

The 3 top Kenyan Clubs, Kenya Pipeline, KCB Kenya, and Kenya Prisons, have dominated the African Club Championships for the last three decades, ensuring that the Gold medal came to Kenya 75 per cent of the times.
