Published on November 12, 2019, a report by Mpasho.co.ke revealed that Michireti and Shiphira, actors on the popular Real Househelps of Kawangware TV show, have been dating for seven years.
Shiphira, whose real name is Wambui wa Wanjiku, plays the role of a well-off tenant who frequently quarrels with her househelp, Awiti, on the show.
Michireti, whose real name is David Marucha, plays the role of the watchman of Avocado court, where the show is shot.
Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke in an exclusive interview, Shiphira shared the details of her relationship with Michireti, stating, "We've been dating for seven years now and our wedding is next year February. We have a five-year-old daughter together."
Shiphira also praised her partner, describing him as "a very loving, caring and good family man." She met Michireti in college and has been acting alongside him on the show, maintaining professionalism as they work together.
A fellow actress, Awiti, took to social media to congratulate the couple ahead of their nuptials, writing, "#Couple goals… Just want to wish you guys all the best in your upcoming wedding and many more babies…just love how @shiphira shouts at u on set and at home anafua hadi boxer @michireti love you guys."
