Gor Mahia Set for Libya Assignment

Gor Mahia is set to face Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli in an international friendly on Friday, and the team has named a 27-member squad for the assignment.

The travelling party, which includes 20 players and seven technical bench members, will depart for Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday and connect to Benghazi, Libya by road via Alexandria.

During their stopover in Cairo, the team will be hosted at Radisson Blu Hotel before leaving for Alexandria later in the evening.

Team manager Jolawi Obondo expressed confidence in the team's ability to pull off a surprise win in Libya, citing the players' high spirits after their recent Mashemeji derby win.
