Published on November 11, 2019, the Kenya Hockey Union men and women Premier League is nearing its end, with the battle for relegation intensifying.
Strathmore University Gladiators, Sikh Union, and Parklands are vying for the two spots in the Super League, with Strathmore currently ranked eighth with 10 points after 15 matches.
Strathmore will face Sikh on November 23, followed by a match against United States International University (USIU) on November 24, and finally, a game against Parklands on November 30.
Sikh Union, on the other hand, has two matches remaining, with their first match against Strathmore on November 23 and their last match against Western Jaguars on November 30.
Parklands, ranked at the bottom of the 10-team log with seven points from 14 outings, has four matches left, including a match against Kenya Police on November 16, Sailors on November 17, Butali on November 23, and Strathmore on November 30.
Meanwhile, in the women's Premier League, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is at the bottom of the eight-team league with two points, and Kenyatta University is still not safe mathematically, ranking seventh with six points.
Elsewhere, Parkroad Badgers are closing in on a return to the top-tier in the men's Super League, with Kenya College of Accountancy University (KCAU) and Mombasa Sports Club (MSC) also in contention for the remaining spot.
