On November 11, 2019, Artcaffe officially opened its doors to its newest outlet in Nairobi's historic Westminster building, located on Kenyatta Avenue.
The outlet, situated in the CBD, is the second Artcaffe location in the area, with the first being on Kimathi street.
The choice of location is deliberate, aiming to preserve Nairobi's rich history. The Westminster building, constructed in 1928, served as a lodging for white colonialists and has been preserved in its original design.
The Artcaffe outlet in Westminster boasts a unique and cultural ambiance, with tasteful black and white decor and wonderful wall art still present.
With the demand for casual but high-quality dining experiences on the rise in Kenya, patrons have been eagerly awaiting Artcaffe's arrival in the CBD. The franchise entered the Kenyan market in 2009 and has since opened 34 outlets in Nairobi and Mombasa.
The eatery is open every day from 7:00 a.m. to midnight and continues to offer one of the best happy hours in Nairobi, with buy-one-get-one-free cocktails from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
