November 11, 2019, a city woman's life was turned upside down by her husband's infidelity, which has left her with repeated infections with sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
She claims her husband has a roving eye and every time he infects her with deadly STIs, leaving her to seek medical attention.
Despite her efforts to address the issue, she says her husband continues to cheat, forcing her to have unprotected sex with him.
She wrote to a relationship expert, 'My husband cheats a lot. Last year I treated STIs seriously. Severe itching AND RASHES in my vaga. This year in January it was gonorrhea. I can’t stop him from cheating. I have tried and prayed but I want him to use a condom.'
Online users have offered varying advice, ranging from leaving the marriage to using female condoms.
'Hmmm marriage is not by force,' one user commented.
'Since you can manage the rashes and sores? Hopefully, you’ll manage HIV too,' another user said.
Some users suggested using female condoms, while others advised her to leave the marriage.
