After Mariga lost the seat to Bernad 'Imran' Okoth, Joey stood by him, assuring him that he did a good job. She even posted a picture of the two and captioned it, 'You did well bruv…proud of you.'
However, fans are not convinced that they are just friends. Many believe Joey has deep feelings for Mariga, with some even suggesting that she has 'brother-zoned' him.
