Comedian Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill, has become a magnet for Kamba politicians ahead of the 2022 elections.
Just days after being recognized by Google for reaching one million subscribers on YouTube, Churchill is set to host his homecoming comedy show, 'No vaa,' in Machakos this weekend.
The show, which will be held at the Machakos Kenyatta National Stadium, is expected to attract thousands of fans, including top Kamba politicians.
According to sources, some politicians are seeking a chance to speak to the crowd, while others are buying VVIP tables to show their solidarity with the people.
Churchill has maintained that he is not interested in active politics, but his influence on local politics has been sending chills down the spines of those in power.
When asked about the politicians' interest in his show, Churchill said, 'I have said I am not interested in politics. Politicians are part of Churchill Show fans, so even as they look forward to joining the rest of the fans, all I can say is that I appreciate their support.'
Churchill's comedy show is a celebration of reaching the one million subscribers mark on YouTube.
