A shocking incident occurred at a Nyeri school on Saturday, November 9, 2019, when a teacher was caught in a compromising position with the area chief.

The teacher, identified as Muriuki, was said to have been eyeing the chief, who was described as beautiful and married to a local trader.

According to an eyewitness, Muriuki was seen jumping off the school's fence, adjacent to the chief's office, and the two were found leaning on classroom walls.

The witness, who was prompted to get closer to the school because it was a Saturday and the pupils were not in school, described the scene as 'strange drama.'

He said that by the time he got to the school, the two love birds had hit the ground while trying to detach from each other.

They started screaming for help, with one of them shouting 'Uuuwi, niokoeni,' and a boda boda operator who arrived immediately knew the two families.

The operator was heard saying that he once ferried the chief's husband to a witchdoctor whom he suspected locked his marriage.

The two were separated after the chief's husband arrived at the scene and ordered everyone to clear from the scene.

Another eyewitness reported that Muriuki was heard pleading for forgiveness from the chief's husband, promising never to repeat it again.
