On a somber note, contemporary artiste and rapper Juliani has opened up about a painful part of his life, sharing a heartfelt tribute to his late friend and Safaricom CEO, Bob Collymore.
Published on November 11, 2019, Juliani's candid conversation with Betty Kyallo on her Friday TV show Upclose with Betty has shed light on the profound impact Collymore had on his life.
Juliani's friendship with Collymore was so tight that he was one of the few people invited to Collymore's wedding to Wambui Kamiru in Naivasha.
Months after Collymore's passing, Juliani has now spoken about how the loss has affected him, highlighting the significant role Collymore played in his life.
"You know when you are doing things people see like you are going crazy. But one needs someone to affirm them that they are fine. This is the role Bob Collymore played on my end," Juliani said.
Juliani also shared that Collymore was always there to lend a helping hand, recalling instances where he would send him money without hesitation.
"You know those kind of people who in case you get into something they are the first ones to look up and they won’t let you. I could tell him ‘Bob send me 1K’ and he would do so without probing," Juliani added.
He continued, "If I was in a problem, I only made a call to him and he was quick to respond. He was the kind of person that did not ask a lot of questions."
