On November 10, 2019, Liverpool secured a thrilling 3-1 win over Manchester City in a top-of-the-table Premier League clash at Anfield.
The match saw Liverpool's Fabinho, Mohamed Salah, and Sadio Mane find the back of the net, with Bernardo Silva scoring City's consolation goal.
Salah opened the scoring in the 12th minute, heading home a sublime cross from Andy Robertson. Fabinho made it 2-0 just six minutes later, pouncing on a poor clearance from Ilkay Gundogan.
City players and manager Pep Guardiola were left frustrated after Trent Alexander-Arnold handled the ball in the penalty area, but referee Michael Oliver let the goal stand.
Mane sealed the win for Liverpool six minutes after the restart, heading home a tremendous cross from Jordan Henderson.
However, Bernardo Silva pulled one back for City with 12 minutes left on the clock, rifling home a low shot beyond Alisson in goal.
Despite the late consolation, Liverpool claimed all three points, moving nine points clear of City in the Premier League table.
