On November 10, 2019, the news of Bob Collymore's passing sent shockwaves through the nation, leaving many to mourn the loss of a beloved leader and friend.

For contemporary artiste and rapper Juliani, Collymore's death was a painful reminder of the impact one person can have on another's life.

Speaking to Betty Kyallo on her Friday TV show Upclose with Betty, Juliani opened up about the close friendship he shared with Collymore, recalling the times they spent together, including Collymore's wedding to Wambui Kamiru in Naivasha.

Juliani fondly remembered Collymore's role in his life, saying,

"You know when you are doing things people see like you are going crazy. But one needs someone to affirm them that they are fine. This is the role Bob Collymore played on my end," said Juliani to Betty Kyallo on her Friday TV show Upclose with Betty.

Juliani also shared how Collymore would often send him KSh 1k without needing to ask for details, and how he would quickly respond to Juliani's calls whenever he was in a problem.
