On Sunday, November 10, 2019, Manchester United finally broke their south coast hoodoo, defeating Brighton 3-1 at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils had struggled to beat Southampton and Bournemouth in their previous matches, but they found their footing against Brighton.

Andreas Pereira opened the scoring for Man Utd with a deflected strike in the 17th minute, and Davy Propper doubled the home side's advantage two minutes later by poking the ball over his own line.

However, Brighton pulled one back in the 64th minute through Lewis Dunk's powerful header.

Marcus Rashford sealed the win for United with a goal two minutes later, firing in off the bar after being set up by Anthony Martial.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men held on to secure the three points, moving to seventh on the Premier League standings with 16 points.
