On November 10, 2019, Gor Mahia made a significant move in the Kenyan Premier League, securing a 4-1 win over AFC Leopards at the Kasarani stadium.

The match saw a goalless draw in the first half, but Gor Mahia took the lead in the 56th minute, followed by two more goals in the 64th and 80th minutes.

AFC Leopards managed to score a consolation goal in the 84th minute, but Gor Mahia sealed their victory with a fourth goal in the dying minutes of the game.
