Gor Mahia's dominance over AFC Leopards continued on Sunday, as they humiliated their bitter rivals 4-1 in the Mashemeji Derby at the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani.

The win, which was Steven Polack's first in the Derby, propelled Gor Mahia to the top of the Kenyan Premier League table with 18 points.

Gor Mahia's Gislain Yikpe was the star of the show, scoring a brace, while Clifton Miheso and Lawrence Juma also found the back of the net. Tresor Ndikumana pulled one goal back for Leopards, but it was too little, too late.

The Gor Mahia starting 11 consisted of David Mapigano, Charles Momanyi, Joash Onyango, Geoffrey Ochieng, Bernard Ondiek, Tobias Otieno, Kenneth Muguna, Clifton Miheso, Lawrence Juma, Gislain Yikpe, and Francis Afriyie.

AFC Leopards' starting 11 included Benjamin Ochan, Soster Kayumba, Tresor Ndikumana, Hansel Ochieng, Isaac Kipyegon, Eugene Mukangula, Whyvonne Isuza, Collins Shichenje, Clyde Senaji, Dennis Sikhayi, and John Mark Makwata.
