On November 10, 2019, a devastating road accident occurred along the Eastern Bypass near Infinity Park in Nairobi, leaving eight people feared dead.
The accident involved a lorry, a personal car, and two PSV matatus, causing a major traffic snarl-up.
According to eyewitnesses, the lorry driver lost control while attempting to make an abrupt stop, resulting in a collision with the two passenger vehicles.
Area residents immediately protested by barricading the road with stones, causing further disruptions to traffic.
