Kenyan media personality Amina Abdi Rabar has spoken candidly about the challenges she has faced in the past year, citing her family's needs as a primary reason for her multiple hustles.

Speaking on The Trend with Antoneosol, Abdi revealed that her father has been in and out of hospital, a situation that has required her to take on various roles to ensure his care and support her family.

“My dad has been in and out of hospital,” she revealed.

Abdi also addressed criticism from fans who have unfairly suggested that her husband, John Rabar, secures her gigs. She emphasized that this is not the case, and that she has worked hard to establish herself in the industry.

Despite wearing many hats, Abdi has managed to prioritize her family above all else, a testament to her dedication and resilience.

From humble beginnings in Kawangware and Eastleigh, Abdi has risen to become one of Kenya's top entertainers, with a career spanning multiple networks, including NTV, where she was poached after Larry Madowo's exit from K24.
