Kenyan rapper Juliani has been left feeling insecure after the death of his close friend and mentor, former Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, who passed away in July 2019.

Collymore, who was a big supporter of Juliani's music career, played a significant role in motivating and encouraging him to pursue his passion.

Speaking in an interview with K24, Juliani revealed that Collymore was more than just a friend, he was a mentor who always had his back and never let him down.

"You know when you are doing things people see like you are going crazy. But one needs someone to affirm them that they are fine. This is the role Bob Collymore played on my end," Juliani said.

Juliani also shared that Collymore was always quick to respond whenever he needed help, and he would often send him KSh 1,000 without asking many questions.

Despite the loss of his close friend, Juliani is focusing on his music career and has been working on a new album. He also has a daughter with his ex-partner Brenda Wairimu, and he is committed to co-parenting with her.

Juliani's comments come as a tribute to the late Bob Collymore, who was a respected figure in Kenyan business and philanthropy.
