On November 10, 2019, a young man from Webuye, Bungoma County, Kenya, learned a hard lesson after being caught 'drilling oil' from his brother's oil field.
However, it emerged that his brother, who descended on him with kicks and blows, had orchestrated the setup.
The woman at the center of the scandal, a mother of three in her late 40s, was said to be a habitual cheater who preferred young energetic men to her aging husband.
She had recently managed to seduce her brother-in-law, who was hardly 35 years old, and would often pretend that he was at her home to help with domestic chores.
But the walls had ears, and the villagers were aware of their romantic escapades. The husband, who worked in an industry in Eldoret, was initially skeptical of the rumors but eventually sought the help of a native doctor and relationship consultant, Mwikali Kilonzo.
After conducting her due diligence, Mwikali Kilonzo was able to deduce that the husband's wife was having an affair with his young brother.
A trap was set, and barely two weeks later, the two lovebirds were caught and wailing in pain in the husband's house.
The husband, furious and humiliated, pounced on them like a hungry lion, giving his wife a resounding beating.
They were eventually separated by Mwikali Kilonzo after the family intervened, and the woman was sent to bring her family to deliberate on the matter.
The young man left for their ancestral home in Chwele, and Mwikali Kilonzo's services were sought by many seeking solutions to their reproductive health issues.
