Comedian Eric Omondi has come out to clarify rumors surrounding his relationship with Italian girlfriend Chantal Grazioli. In an interview with Rembo TV, Omondi revealed that they staged their breakup in May this year.
According to Omondi, the two had been together for four and a half years but were struggling to make progress in their relationship. He cited the long-distance aspect of their relationship, with Chantal's family living in Italy, as a major challenge.
"She has been ensuring that my brand works but what am I doing for her? It is a long-distance relationship because her family lives in Italy and she only comes here for like six months to visit me. I am not growing any younger," Omondi said in May.
However, Omondi has now revealed that they are still together and Chantal will be visiting him in Kenya for the Christmas holiday in December.
"Chantal and I never broke up and neither did we separate. If you read what I wrote and what she wrote, she was going to school had to handle other life things. We are not even on a break and she is coming over to Kenya for Christmas," Omondi said.
