The world is witnessing a surge in digital game-changing solutions, but unfortunately, the graveyard for technology products is growing at an alarming rate.
Many entrepreneurs struggle to solve the puzzle of why their digital innovations fail to thrive. One reason lies in the way users interact with technology.
Users can be broadly categorized into two groups: those who understand and are enthusiastic about technology, and those who are hesitant to adopt digital solutions.
The first group, comprising tech-savvy individuals, has a steep learning curve and is more likely to interrogate a product thoroughly before adopting it.
On the other hand, the second group, comprising those with little or no digital experience, requires hand-holding to use technology effectively and is more likely to complain about glitches.
IT engineers, who create digital innovations, often focus on developing features and fixing bugs but lack the patience to explain their solutions to a broader audience.
Herein lies the importance of visionaries, who see beyond technology and focus on business goals, potential return on investment, and market recognition.
Without visionaries, even the most robust digital innovations will wither in the hands of their developers.
