Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's recent Facebook post has ignited a fierce debate, with many questioning his views on cheating husbands.

According to Sonko, a man can cheat on his wife and still love her, but a woman cannot cheat on her husband and still love him. He based his argument on the idea that men do not have sex with emotions, while women attach emotions to sex.

He further claimed that wives who divorce their cheating husbands are often the ones who cheated first, and that a loyal woman would never sue her husband for divorce.

However, his remarks drew intense backlash from women, who argued that men who cheat are weak and lack respect for their partners. Many women took to the comments section to express their outrage, with some even suggesting that cheating men are more likely to die early due to the emotional emptiness they feel.

Despite the backlash, Sonko attempted to distance himself from the post, claiming that he had simply copied and pasted the content without fully understanding the context.

Published on November 9, 2019, Sonko's post has sparked a heated debate, with many questioning the validity of his views on relationships and marriage.
