Kenyan musician Akothee has been a social media sensation for years, and with that comes a lot of attention - both positive and negative. In a recent rant on social media, she expressed her frustration with people who constantly try to bring her down.
She began by saying, 'LEAVE ME ALONE, I AM NOT LEAVING A BETTER LIFE THAN YOURS, it’s JUST THAT I AM STRONG ENOUGH TO EMBRACE AND ACCEPT MY CHALLENGES AS A LEARNING PROCESS LIFE IS MORE PRACTICAL THAN THEORY????'
Akothee went on to say that she will always stand for the truth, no matter the cost. 'I will stand for the truth even if it will land me in jail or the grave, fear No man for no one will leave this life alive,' she said.
She also addressed the issue of people trying to shame her for being honest about her life. 'Women are their own devil! I don’t want stalkers in my life! If you stalk me to my hotel room, I will come and tell my fans too,' she warned.
Akothee also took aim at people who try to make her out to be a bad person because she doesn't hide the truth. 'Let’s be true to ourselves, come to the show, enjoy and support like the rest! Why do you make it personal to stalk me, then when you can't get access now you create stories and non-existing enmity?' she asked.
She ended her rant with a parting shot, saying, 'OMO, LIVE YOUR LIFE IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT AKOTHEE IS, I AM NOT A PIMOMETOR OF LIFE ABEG.??????'
