MultiChoice's DStv Now has expanded its user profile feature to its TV and media player apps, giving users more control over their content preferences.

Since its introduction in August last year, DStv Now has been available on various platforms, including mobile devices, web apps, Samsung smart TVs, Android TV, Apple TV, Xbox, and select Hisense televisions.

With the latest update, users can now set up user profiles on their TV and media player apps, making it easier to manage content preferences for different users, especially children.

According to MultiChoice, user profiles are a popular feature on streaming video-on-demand services like Netflix and Showmax, and are now available on the DStv Now app for TV and media player devices.

Users can select from a total of 25 avatars to personalize their profiles, and can easily switch between profiles to access their preferred content.

MultiChoice has been continuously updating and improving the DStv Now app, with the latest feature addition being the inclusion of casting abilities for Android users.
