Stanford University in the US has confirmed that Norah Chelagat, a top student in the 2013 KCSE exams, died in her hostel room on campus.

According to reports, Norah's death was the fourth reported at the university this February.

She was a student at Precious Blood Secondary School in Riruta before joining Stanford University in the US.

Her body was repatriated to Kenya and she was buried on June 29, 2019, at her father's home in Moiben Constituency.

Medical experts from the US revealed that Norah died after consuming a poisonous substance.
