November 8, 2019, was a significant day for Diamond Platnumz, as he released his latest song, Baba Lao, produced by S2Kizzy.

The song has been making waves, but not for the right reasons. Naira Marley's fans have accused Diamond Platnumz of copying his song, Soapy.

Responding to the allegations, S2Kizzy, the producer of Baba Lao, said that they started creating the track a long time ago when he and Diamond were in Madagascar.

According to S2Kizzy, they had asked for permission from the original composer, Naira Marley, before creating the song.

He added that Diamond is an international artist who can’t hop on someone’s song without giving proper credit.
