Phone batteries are designed to last for three to five years, but their lifespan can be significantly shortened by frequent or extended charging.
According to Tech Advisor, a British computer magazine, the way you use your phone plays a significant role in determining how long your battery will last.
Factors such as the number of apps installed, customization, and notifications can all contribute to a drained battery.
Experts caution against letting a phone battery drop below 20% and advise against charging it overnight due to overheating risks.
However, most modern smartphones have built-in sensors that automatically stop the charging process once it hits 100%.
One key tip is to keep your phone's charge between 50-90% most of the time, and to avoid giving it a full recharge every time you charge it.
As Tech Advisor notes, 'giving it a full recharge every time you charge it will shorten its lifespan.'
Instead, experts recommend recalibrating the battery by charging it from zero to 100% only once a month, which is a bit like restarting your computer.
