Published on November 8, 2019, Babu Owino, the Embakasi East Member of Parliament, is having the last laugh after McDonald Mariga's defeat in the Kibra by-elections.
Mariga's loss has given Owino the opportunity to share two valuable lessons he learned from the by-elections, which he believes are crucial for Deputy President William Ruto.
According to Owino, the first lesson is that a child can play with their mother's breasts in public but not with their father's testicles. He also emphasized that one cannot treat diarrhea by blocking the anus with a cork.
These comments come as no surprise, given Owino's history of criticizing Mariga. During the Kibra by-election campaigns, Owino blasted Mariga for being spotted with Ann Thumbi, the late Ken Okoth's baby mama.
Owino's message to Mariga was clear: 'Mariga must choose between the lady or the seat, hauwezi dharau the late Ken by taking both his seat and his wife. Choose one Omwami.'
