Published on November 8, 2019, a group of men in their late 30s and early 40s have been open about their polygamous relationships. Two of them are in outright polygamous marriages, while the other two have a kept mistress that their wives have accepted.

These men are admirable for their ability to manage two millennial women with decorum, forestalling any drama with creative blackmail, discipline, and pragmatism. However, they soon realized that getting a second woman was not a solution to their marital woes, but rather a recipe for more problems.

One of the men shared his experience, saying, "When the first wife brings problems, I go to the second, and when the second brings a problem, I go to the first, it works. When both have issues, I stay away and buy my peace of mind."

Another man added, "Another woman in the vicinity can humble the other troublesome one." However, not all women are willing to share a man, and some may even match their partner's infidelity.

As one of the men noted, "Only that some women are too proud to share a man, and they often match. Until when they are older and they realise sharing men is the order of the day."

Despite the challenges, polygamy seems to have some magic to it, despite the niggling problems. However, it's clear that it's not a solution that works for everyone, and that monogamy is still the ideal for many couples.
