On November 7, 2019, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho fell ill and was admitted to Mombasa Hospital for a check-up.
According to sources, the doctors recommended that he be admitted for further treatment.
During his hospital stay, Joho received a visit from former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.
More details about Joho's condition are yet to be released.
