Groundbreaking Samsung Galaxy S11 Rumoured for Early 2020 ¶
According to recent leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S11 is set to be released in early 2020, potentially as early as February 18, 2020, or at the Mobile World Congress 2020, which starts on February 24, 2020.
The Galaxy S11 is expected to be a significant upgrade over the S10 range, with a groundbreaking camera, upgraded design, major performance increases, next-gen memory, and AI-focused image processing.
One of the most exciting features of the Galaxy S11 is its camera system, which is rumoured to include a new 108MP camera sensor, a lens with 5x optical zoom, and a periscope camera codenamed 'Hubble'.
The Galaxy S11 is also expected to feature a new 7-nanometer Exynos chip, which has been benchmarked with scores that beat any other phone.
As for the price, it's expected to be around $1,000 for the standard model, with the possibility of a cheaper 'Lite' version.
Design and Display ¶
The Galaxy S11 is rumoured to have a bezel-free screen with an edge-to-edge design, similar to the Galaxy S10. However, it's also possible that the phone will feature a second screen on the back, which would remove the need for a selfie camera.
Another rumoured feature is a new in-display camera, which would allow the front-facing camera to be hidden from view until it's in use.
Camera Upgrades ¶
The Galaxy S11 is expected to feature a new 108MP camera sensor, which would deliver unmatched detail. The camera system is also rumoured to include a lens with 5x optical zoom and a periscope camera codenamed 'Hubble'.
It's worth noting that Samsung has already announced new 48MP and 64MP camera sensors, so it's possible that the Galaxy S11 will use one of these sensors.
