On November 7, 2019, the comedy world in Kenya was left reeling with the sudden and tragic passing of Anthony Njenga, a comedian who frequently appeared on Churchill Show.

As investigations into his death continue, the Churchill Show has released a heartfelt statement expressing their condolences to Njenga's family and the wider comedy community.

"We express our deep and heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and join in their prayers for the deceased," the statement read.

Anthony Njenga, known as Njenga Mswahili, was a popular comedian who had been a regular on NTV's Thursday Churchill Raw since its debut in 2013.

His untimely death has left many in the comedy industry in shock, and the Churchill Show has pledged to support his family during this difficult time.

"We join the family in preparation of his interment. Please let's all keep Anthony Njenga's family in our thoughts as they go through this difficult time," the statement added.
