Kenya's international football export, McDonald Mariga, has a daughter named Kenisha, born in 2013, according to TUKO.co.ke's findings published on November 8, 2019.
Mariga, who played for Tusker FC before joining Swedish side Enköpings SK in 2005, has kept his private life and that of his daughter away from fans.
On his social media posts, Mariga describes Kenisha as his love and beautiful princess, but rarely shares photos of her.
Mariga's personal life has been subject to scrutiny, including his past relationship with Rwandese woman Ariane Umutoni, which started around 2008 and ended with their wedding plans being called off.
Mariga contested the vacant Kibra constituency seat on Jubilee Party ticket on November 7, 2019, but lost to ODM's candidate Imran Okoth.
