Kenyan music icon Nameless recently accompanied Nyashinski to Nandi for a traditional ceremony where dowry is negotiated. The ceremony was attended by other members of Nyashinski's boy's club, including Fakii Liwali, Big Pin, Bien Barasa, and Savara Mudigi of Sauti Sol.
Speaking to Mpasho, Nameless clarified that the gathering was not a wedding, contrary to what was reported. He stated, 'You guys, I don’t know how that story was twisted to become a lavish wedding. manze, we had even gone with creased shirts, this was not a wedding, man!'
During the dowry negotiations, Nameless ensured that Nyashinski got a discount by negotiating with the elders. He explained, 'By the way huko, niliongea! Nilimpatia marks hapo mpaka tuu mambuyu wanasema, Okay… (nodding their heads),'
After his best man speech, Nyashinski thanked Nameless for his efforts, saying, 'Wee! hapo umenipatia marks hapo.'
On marriage advice, Nameless told Nyashinski, 'This thing is not going to be easy and you have to develop skills of how to live with each other because we are not taught those things.'
He emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence in marriage, saying, 'If you don’t you miscommunicate so much mpaka unashindwa why this thing is not working out.'
