Published on November 8, 2019, Diamond's team has officially backed down from their efforts to convince fellow singer Ali Kiba to attend the Wasafi Festival.
Babu Tale, Diamond's manager, responded to Ali Kiba's recent post, stating that they should leave him alone after trying to make him attend the show.
According to Babu Tale, the decision to reach out to Ali Kiba was not personal, but rather aimed at improving the music industry.
"These things are not personal, no wonder Nigerians are going far. We should not accept to be split apart by people who just want to hate. By doing that, we are killing the industry," he said.
He further emphasized that their efforts were not a personal attack on Ali Kiba, stating, "Amesema unikome, na mimi nimemkoma, hata kumzungumzia, tumemkoma."
It appears that Diamond's team has finally accepted that Ali Kiba will not be attending the Wasafi Festival.
