Kibra's 'High-Waist Fashionista' Steals the Show in Bizarre Election Outing ¶
On Thursday, November 7, 2019, the highly anticipated Kibra by-election finally came to pass, and it was everything we have come to expect from the volatile ODM stronghold.
Chaos and violence broke out, with some ODM supporters heckling and chasing away leaders allied to the Jubilee candidate McDonald Mariga. The former footballer was among those who were chased away from 'Baba's bedroom', along with Starehe MP Jaguar, Kimilili MP Dismas Baraza, and former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale.
However, amidst the chaos, a fashion savvy Kibra resident, Cancious Ochieng' Abich, stole the show with his 'high-waist' pants. Speaking to journalists and the crowd, Mr Ochieng' said he went to the polling station not only to vote but to also spread happiness and ease the political tension in Kibra.
Although his name was missing on the voter's register, Mr Ochieng' was satisfied to have put smiles on people's faces with his look. He revealed that he has about twelve clothes similar to the one he was wearing and reiterated that it is his style.
