On November 7, 2019, a series of photos emerged online, showing Boni Khalwalwe, a former Kakamega senator and governor aspirant, carrying stones in Kibra Constituency.
According to eyewitnesses, Khalwalwe was kicked out of Laini Saba ward by residents while voting was underway.
Reactions from social media users have been mixed, with some calling out Khalwalwe's dwindling credibility and influence, while others defended him, saying he was just trying to help.
