Heung Min-Son Dedicates Goal to André Gomes in Champions League Win ¶
On November 7, 2019, Heung Min-Son scored twice to guide Tottenham to a 4-0 win over Red Star in the Champions League.
However, the Tottenham talisman chose not to celebrate one of the goals, instead paying tribute to André Gomes, who was injured in a Premier League match at Goodison Park.
Heung Min-Son's gesture was a touching moment caught on camera, and he later explained that he did it out of respect for Gomes' situation.
"I didn't want to celebrate because I wanted to respect his situation. Of course, I still feel really, really sorry about the situation," the 27-year-old said.
Heung Min-Son's emotional action has set social media agog, with football fans across the world praising the South Korean star for his humility and sense of remorse.
