Churchill Show Comedian Njenga Mswahili Found Dead in Kenya ¶
Comedian Njenga Mswahili, a former performer at the Churchill show, was found dead on November 7, 2019, in Dagoretti South, after allegedly being hit by a train.
According to Erick Kiogora, a fellow comedian and friend of the late Njenga, the comedian was struggling with drug addiction and had gone to rehab but it never worked out.
Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, Erick revealed that Njenga must have been knocked down knowingly or unknowingly by a train in the wee hours of Thursday morning, around the time trains usually pass by the area.
He also disclosed that the late Njenga was unrecognizable and his mother had to confirm that indeed it was him.
"We couldn't really say if it was him, but when the mother came, she immediately confirmed that it was her son," a dejected Erick told TUKO.co.ke.

Friend to the late Njenga, Erick, confirmed that the former performer was fighting drug addiction and had difficulties leaving that world behind. Njenga had been taken to rehabilitation but he could not stop using drugs.
"He was a great person, a great friend, but drugs were his downfall. We are not sure if he was on the tracks or he threw himself on the oncoming train to end his life," Erick said.
The Railways police took his body from the site of the incident and transported it to City Mortuary awaiting funeral preparations.
