Former Kisumu East MP Gor Sungu is seeking the public's assistance in recovering his son's stolen bicycle from their home in Kajulu, Kisumu County.

The bicycle, a Philips mountain bike, was stolen from Alango village in Kajulu West by an unknown individual.

In a plea for help, Gor Sungu posted on social media that there is a reward for anyone who can assist the family in recovering the bicycle.

Those familiar with the former politician's life claim that he is currently facing financial difficulties and has been known to sneak cheap liquor into high-end clubs in Kisumu.

Gor Sungu previously chaired the parliamentary Select Committee that investigated the death of former Foreign Affairs Minister Robert Ouko in 2003.
