Udinese defender William Troost-Ekong has signed a contract extension with the Serie A outfit, committing himself to the team till 2023.
Ekong joined Udinese in the summer of 2018 from Turkish club Bursaspor, signing a four-year contract.
On November 6, 2019, Ekong tweeted about his contract extension, expressing his gratitude to Udinese for the confidence and vowing to continue working hard.
“Very happy with my renewal. Thanks to Udinese for the confidence, the hard work continues,” Ekong tweeted.
At 26, Ekong has established himself as a key player for Udinese, making 35 Serie A appearances last season and helping the team finish 12th in the league.
He has also represented Nigeria 38 times, scoring two international goals for the Super Eagles.
