On November 9, 2019, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, will come to a standstill as Diamond Platnumz's Wasafi festival kicks off. The event promises to be one of the biggest in East Africa this year.
After being turned down by fellow East African artist Ali Kiba, Diamond Platnumz has moved on to bigger and better things. He has secured the services of Nigeria's power couple, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage, to perform at the festival.
Wizkid and Tiwa Savage are set to bring their A-game to the Wasafi festival. The event will also feature other notable artists, including Professor Jay, TID, Juma Jux, Amber Lulu, and Innoss B.
According to Tiwa Savage, who has since deleted her post, she is excited to perform at the festival, captioning: 'This weekend a Queen is coming to Tanzania with BIG vibez. Wasafi festival with my bro @diamond platnumz SIMBAAAA?❤?'
