On November 8, the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) and the Senate will hold the Speaker's Roundtable at the Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort in Naivasha, marking the second edition of the annual dialogue platform between the business community and the Senate.
The event comes on the back of a similar roundtable held with the National Assembly in Mombasa in October, where delegates discussed the role of the legislature and the private sector in boosting Kenya's competitiveness to enable job creation.
KEPSA CEO Carole Kariuki noted that while the ease of doing business in Kenya has improved in the last four years, challenges persist in taxation and licensing among other areas in the counties.
