Ahmednasir Abdullahi Slams Raila Odinga's Leadership Prospects ¶
Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has sparked controversy on Twitter, claiming that Raila Odinga's presidency would have been disastrous for Kenya's economy.
According to Abdullahi, Raila's leadership would have been worse than President Uhuru Kenyatta's in terms of economic development.
Abdullahi made the remarks in a tweet on November 6, 2019, where he compared Raila's potential leadership team to Uhuru's, suggesting that the former would have been catastrophic for the country.
“Jubilee under the able leadership of Uhuru and DP Ruto assisted by Duale, Muturi and Murkomen have to some extent messed up Kenya. But just imagine if Baba assisted by Musyoka, Wetangula, Junet, Sumra and Alado were running Kenya? Thank Allah for Jubilee,” he tweeted.
Abdullahi's comments have sparked a heated conversation on Twitter, with many users criticizing his views and accusing him of being biased towards the Jubilee government.
“You happy you got paid your 2017 – supreme loss dues. Despite the fact that you were outwitted, outmaneuvered in court,” tweeted Kennedy Omogi, a Twitter user.
Others have defended Abdullahi's right to express his opinion, even if they disagree with his views.
