Wavinya Ndeti, a former Youth and Sports Assistant Minister, is known for her outspoken views on politics. However, behind the scenes, she is a devoted mother to her three children.
Tragedy struck in 2016 when her husband, Joseph Henry Dolamu Oduwale, passed away at Nairobi Hospital after a sudden increase in blood pressure. He was in the ICU at the time.
Wavinya met her late husband in the early 1990s while pursuing higher education in the UK. They had a church wedding in the UK and later solemnized their union in 2008 through a traditional Kamba ceremony in Kathiani, attended by politicians and people from all walks of life.
Wavinya's children, Charles, Daniel, and Alicia, have grown up, and she has shared photos of them. As a strong woman, Wavinya believes in loving, nurturing, encouraging, and persevering, as she once said, 'A strong woman loves, natures, encourages, offers positive energy, forgives, perseveres, looks forward no matter what life throws at her.'
With her children growing up, Wavinya will soon have to navigate the challenges of protecting her daughter from unwanted advances.
