Published on November 6, 2019, a bandit attack in Jaldesa, Marsabit County, left 10 people dead, including two police officers.
The attack occurred on Tuesday night when bandits ambushed a vehicle, killing three people.
Seven more people, including two police officers on patrol, were killed in a retaliatory attack.
A senior security official, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed the reports, stating, "The reports are true but I cannot comment further as this is a fluid situation that is still ongoing."
