Published on November 6, 2019, Bayern Munich is on the hunt for a new head coach after Niko Kovac's dismissal.

Arsene Wenger, a 70-year-old Frenchman with a history of coaching top-tier teams, has not ruled out a potential move to Bayern Munich. Wenger, who coached Arsenal from October 1996 to May 2018, has spoken about missing certain aspects of coaching.

"Something you miss, of course, is the satisfaction of winning matches and preparing players," Wenger said in a recent interview.

However, Ralf Rangnick, a prominent candidate for the role, has reportedly turned down the opportunity. Rangnick's manager, Marc Kosicke, stated that Rangnick is "not available" and that Bayern's current needs do not align with Rangnick's goals.

"That's why it doesn't make sense to hold concrete talks," Kosicke said.

Other candidates, including Ajax coach Erik ten Hag and Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel, have also expressed their commitment to their current jobs.
