Published on November 6, 2019, detectives at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) arrested a Congolese national in connection to a Sh10 million fake gold racket.

Ledivin Mupanga, 41, was arrested on arrival from Ethiopia following a stop order placed by Serious Crime Detectives working jointly with Immigration Department officers.

Further investigations are underway to expose persons linked to the fake gold syndicate.

The suspect was taken into custody, questioned, and later arraigned in court.
